From a very young age, I have always been an organized person. Being from a large family, I discovered that I could not leave my shoes or books in the hall and expect them to be there when I needed them. I discovered that clutter not only is visually unappealing, it creates a non-functional lifestyle. I started organizing everything—my dad’s tools, my mom’s kitchen gadgets. Soon everything had a designated place and we knew exactly where to find it. Frustration is needing something in a hurry and you just don’t know where to look.
I found myself studying the space and furniture arrangement where ever I went; a restaurant, a friend’s house, or even a store. In my mind, I would complete a room re-design and better ways to organize their accessories. I’ve enjoyed creating my own storage systems to manage everyday items and store the clutter. So when my friends and neighbors asked me to come up with ideas to make their rooms better organized and look more stylish and, I gladly took on the challenge. Even small changes can make a huge impact. Helping people with organizing and designing rooms soon became my passion.
Having elderly parents, I understand the need for convenience of everyday items. By creating clever storage solutions for them, those items are visible and easy to access without being in constant view eliminating the cluttered look.
